At beer&food attraction for the resumption of eating out

The Italian Exhibition Group team at work for the most awaited appointment on the market. The desire to meet and confront each other to relaunch the business is growing. This is confirmed by the declarations of exhibitors and operators. Rimini Beer Week is also taking shape, the widespread event for the city and the clubs of the Riviera. Appointment from 27 to 30 March 2022 at the Rimini Fair

A month after the opening, the expectation of operators for Beer & Food Attraction is growing , the 7th edition of the eating OUT fair which will take place simultaneously with the 4th BBTech expo and the 11th International Horeca Meeting of Italgrob, from 27 to 30 March at Rimini Fair.

Day after day, the list of exhibitors is updated, involving the names of the main companies in the entire horeca supply chain. Among these we point out, for beers : Heineken, Paulaner, Birra Peroni, Krombacher, Warsteiner, Carlsberg and the Baladin Brewery, to name just a few of the best known names. In beveragethe big brands are present: from Coca-Cola to Pepsi, from San Pellegrino to Ferrarelle, from Lete to San Benedetto. 

And again: Conserve Italia, Red Bull, Plose and Zuegg. Significant memberships also in the food sector, among others: Surgital, Menù, Greci, Demetra, Nonno Nanni, Philadelphia, Lantmannen, Danish Crown and Valle Spluga.

We caught up with some protagonists of the companies who tell us why they will exhibit at Beer & Food Attraction and what they expect from their return in the presence of this 2022 edition.

For a sector like Ho.Re.Ca., ´ says Massimo Furlan – director of the University of Heineken beer, ´in which the relationship with the public and sociability are the basis of the success of many entrepreneurial activities, the return to the presence is a real sign of restart and trust. The occasion of the fair is therefore an important moment to meet, discuss and thus fuel the recovery. 

Beer & Food Attraction is certainly one of the most anticipated events in the sector, an opportunity for discussion with operators and an authoritative showcase in which to present not only new products, but also. and this is especially true for Università della Birra, the HEINEKEN Italia Group´s Training Center of excellence for sector operators – new initiatives, projects, ideas and visions´.

We consider it very important to be present at Beer & Food Attraction´, says Teo Musso, master brewer, creator and founder of the Baladin Agricultural Brewery , ´to be able to meet the world of distribution and at the same time be able to interact with fellow artisans and operators who actively contribute to the growth of our environment´.

And there is great expectation from food companies too , with some illustrious welcome returns: ´Surgital has for over forty years the out-of-home channel as its core business, which we oversee by offering fresh pasta, sauces and frozen ready meals ´, underlines Elena Bacchini , Surgital marketing director. 

´To be present at the Rimini Beer & Food Attraction fair is an important sign for us after two really difficult years that have put a strain on our sector: it means resuming the long-awaited normality. It is an appointment that offers Italian professionals a complete overview of the out of home and we, as protagonists, will bring our heritage of tradition and innovation ´.

According to Federico Masella , marketing manager for Italy – Menù Srl, Beer & Food Attraction ´ is a fair particularly aimed at the young target’s out-of-home consumption and is aimed at rapidly developing channels such as fast food and the formats linked to the trend of deconstructing meals. 

For these reasons Menù has decided to participate, thanks also to an increasingly specialized quality offer in this direction. 

The first months of the year are of vital importance for us, because in very important trade show windows such as Beer & Food Attraction we have the opportunity to present our great news for 2022 and to better prepare for the season´.

The layout of BBTech expo has also been defined , which will be concentrated in halls A2 and A3 of the Rimini exhibition center. According to Guglielmo Gai. CEO of GAI Macchine SpA , ´To date BBtech expo is the only credible fair for the Craft Beer sector in Italy. Fair that attracts all producers. 

For us it is an unmissable opportunity to meet and communicate our news. All fairs are important, but what we really appreciate about BBTech expo is the technical cut we try to give. 

The ability to attract qualified visitors is also very important. In recent years, the number of foreign visitors has also grown, making it possible to further expand the possibilities for making contacts´.

Speaking of the layout of the events: halls A7 and C7 will be dedicated to food, C5, C6, A3 and A4 to beer & beverage, with the A3 shared with BBTech expo, which also extends into the A2. A5 and A6 will instead be dedicated to the Italgrob International Horeca Meeting, this year even more integrated within the fairs.

Also confirmed the appointment of Rimini Beer Week , the widespread event that will unite the fair with the renewed historic center of the city and with the clubs of the Riviera, to discover a territory capable of surprising, perhaps in front of a good beer or a cocktail in company.
