150 years long history

Hupfer – the success story of a company that this year can look back on its 150 years long history. Founded in 1870 by Julius Hupfer, the company has developed from a manufacturer of wire mesh to a specialist in kitchen and sterile supplies logistics. Hupfer develops and manufactures products and systems tailored to each individual logistics function in commercial kitchens.

As a specialist in sterile goods logistics, we ensure an optimal configuration of appliances for the supply and disposal of sterile goods. Hupfer products and systems ensure optimized workflows, work safety and ease of cleaning as well as highest hygiene standards.

The fact that we meet our high standards is also demonstrated by numerous certifications that recognize the standards of our work.  

We are certified  according  to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485. But despite all the technology we use, the face of the Hupfer brand is primarily shaped by our excellently trained employees who apply their know- how  and  perfection  in  craftsmanship  to every detail of every product idea.

At our  headquarters  in  Coesfeld  in  northwest Germany, over 400 employees work together in 19 departments to continually improve our solutions. In addition to the headquarter, other sales offices in 11 countries and various national and international trade partners are involved in the success of the company.

Hupfer  Italia  was  founded  in  Italy  in  1975 from Mr. Quattrocchi Luigi and his son Alessandro  who  now  still  runs  the  company with his son Fabio Quattrocchi and his daughter  Pamela  Quattrocchi.  However,  the consideration  for  our  environment  must not be forgotten:

Energy efficiency and re- source-saving concepts are a high priority for us. We take the entire life cycle of our products into account: from the extraction of raw materials to the manufacture of materials, design and production, right through to use and subsequent recycling.
