Hoteliers, Restauraters, Housekeepers, and Baristasalike Spotlighted at THAIFEX – HOREC Asia 2024

Action-packed events, including the THAIFEX – HOREC Academy, the Thailand Ultimate Housekeeping Challenge, and the ASEAN Barista Team Championship will be held at THAIFEX – HOREC Asia 2024, 6-8 March 2024, to help raise standards and redefine the ASEAN HoReCa sector for the future.

The upcoming THAIFEX – HOREC Asia 2024 trade show is a game changer for the hospitality industry sectors of hotels, restaurants, and catering (HoReCa). 2. Thailand Ultimate Housekeeping Challenge

The inaugural Thailand Ultimate Housekeeping Challenge will see some one hundred skilled Thai hotel housekeepers vie for the coveted ‘Thailand Ultimate Housekeeping Champion’ title. To earn it, they will demonstrate their prowess and excellence at keeping cleanliness by competing in a Bed Making Competition, a Flower Arrangement Competition, a Towel Folding Competition, and a Speed Housekeeping Cleaning Challenge.

Helmed by four associations: Executive Housekeeper Association, Chiangmai Housekeeping Club, The Housekeepings Club of Eastern Region of Thailand and Housekeeping Management Club Phuket and Andaman, the Thailand Ultimate Housekeeping Challenge aims to foster collaboration among members and drive discussion about housekeeping standards, sustainability, and technology-driven solutions.

3. ASEAN Barista Team Championship

Brewing excellence: In association with the ASEAN Coffee Federation, the ASEAN Barista Team Championship unites the finest and most distinguished baristas from across the ASEAN region to vie for the coveted team title. Their dedication to exceptional service will be rigorously assessed with a focus on speed, precision, and craftsmanship, all under the discerning eyes of a panel of industry experts.

This thrilling competition begins with a practice day on March 6th, followed by intense showdowns starting on March 7th and culminating with the final rounds on March 8th. The grand prize includes both a Runner-Up Set and a Champion Set, with a total prize pool of up to USD 11,000. Witness the region’s top baristas display their mastery and passion for coffee. The prize-giving ceremony on March 8th at 3 pm promises to be a moment of celebration and recognition.
