For the seventh consecutive year, WOP DUBAI was under the patronage if His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and Chairman of Dubai Municipality.

The show was inaugurated by H.E. Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General of the Dubai Municipality and organized in cooperation with the Dubai Municipality.

The total outcome of the show reflected the huge progress in trade of perishables in the Middle East. The continuous growth of WOP DUBAI proves its position as the prime trade fair for fresh produce in the region as well as strengthen the Emirate of Dubai as a worldwide trading center for fruits and vegetables.

Overall, 205 participating companies from 30 countries exhibited at WOP DUBAI 2015 and presented a wide range of products and services. The participants came from Australia, Belgium, China, Cyprus, Ecuador, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Lebanon, Mauritius, Moldova, Morocco, Netherlands, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Rwanda, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States.

14 official country pavilions were joining the show from Australia, Belgium, China, Egypt, France, Italy, Kenya, Mauritius, Moldova, Morocco, Portugal, Poland, Spain and Rwanda.

4923 traders and industry professional from 78 different countries visited the exhibition with a growth of 11% compared to last year’s attendance.

The International Plants Expo Middle East – IPM DUBAI 2015 took place parallel to WOP DUBAI. 7329 visitors’ attended both shows with the general total growth of 9% from last year’s figures.

2016 will continue its success at Dubai World Trade Centre – one of the most prestigious exhibition centers in the World – with one additional hall booked providing exhibitors more services and space options.
