Specialised in the production of WC cisterns 100% made in Italy, Pucci’s 76 years of operations are characterized by innovative products that have revolutionized the bathroom, meeting the demands of users and installers alike. Let’s start from the beginning.
In 1948 Pucci made the very first concealed cistern in history: the material is copper, with an evolved version of the product still in the Pucci catalogue. This cistern heralded the bathroom’s transition into the modern era.
1968 saw the first cistern made of polyethylene, a versatile, strong and functional material that was destined to play the leading role in cistern production in the future. 1990 saw a decisive move, with Pucci’s launch of Eco, the first dual flush cistern, allowing users to choose the required flush volume and achieve savings in water consumption. Well ahead of the curve, Pucci Eco promotes conservation of our rarest and most precious natural resource.
In 1995 Pucci started producing the only existing dual-flush cistern with maximum capacity of 6 litres. From a niche product, this cistern with its maximised water savings has gone mainstream, with the latest European and national eco-sustainability regulations recommending installation of precisely this type of cistern in all renovation projects (the 6-litre cistern complies fully with the EU DNSH regulation).
Cistern and flush plate evolution have picked up the pace still further in recent years. Sfioro is the cistern with buttonless flush plate equipped with sensors, an elegant synthesis of style and technology.
Flushing is activated in touch mode, an ultra-modern interface for the bathroom of the future. Sustainable innovation award winner Eco Matic is a super-functional specialised cistern for public premises, hotels, restaurants, etc..
Finally, Sara Tronic is Pucci’s “digital” quantum leap. It’s the first cistern programmable via a smartphone app, allowing selection of flush volume in litres (9, 6, 4) and user detection distance for auto flush (from 0.5 to 1.5 m). And the innovation continues, serving the general public and the bathroom.
