Asit Italia 50 years of activity

The experience gained in 50 years of activity in the stainless steel deep-drawing process allows Asit Italia to offer a wide range of standard products as well as specific solutions based on the client’s needs. “We take credit and responsibility for being the first company in the market to take ice-cream trays to a whole new level,” they explain, “thanks to the deep-drawing process. This innovation allowed us to solve construction and hygiene issues. We work with the major Italian manufacturers of ice-cream display cases and pozzetti counters (the traditional way of storing ice cream) and we are present in many countries around the world, from Canada to Australia”.

“We support the Made in Italy industry by producing in our factory in Tuscany and using raw materials from Italian suppliers.” One of the new products is the stainless steel scoopwash-tank complete with an innovative “shower” and rounded edges to make the working environment more comfortable for the user. It is very easy to use: both the upper and lower valves are activated by pressing down a spatula (or portioner) on the activation disc. The spatula is then washed with fresh water jets coming from the top and bottom nozzles, and the residual water is instantly washed away through the drain hole.

By lifting the spatula from the activation disc, the valves close automatically. “This system allows to achieve more than 50% water savings compared with the traditional tap with continuous water flow and it is more hygienic”. On request, it is also possible to have a plastic disc to make the spatula rinsing easier, and a rubber outline where to tap the spatula to shake off any residual drops of water to avoid ice crystals.
